Good evening everyone!
I'd like to welcome everyone to this new blog where we will cover a multitude of sports topics and events. I've been talking sports my whole life and everyone keeps telling me I should give this a shot, so here I am. Just remember, if you decide I'm a moron who has no idea what I'm talking about, blame my friends. Only kidding. Kinda.
All kidding aside, I'd love for this to be a very interactive blog where anyone can write me and talk with me. Where all comments will be read and responded to if necessary. We'll get back to the chit chat stuff later. This is going to be a sports blog so lets get down to business.
Lets start of with the obvious. The Super Bowl is around the corner and it looks on paper like it is going to be quite the match-up. The Saints are coming in looking like they've regained thier early season form. They appeared to be faltering into despair near the end of the season but after a convincing win against the Cardinals and outlasting the Vikings in the championship game I feel they are on the right track. The Colts are having another stellar year and apper to be the stronger team going into the Super Bowl. They showed against the Jets that they can regroup as a team and overcome thier oppenents strengths. I feel at this point that if the Colts can play as a team the entire game they have the greatest chance of winning. Both teams have strong offenses but the Colts have the definite advantage as far as defense goes. If the Colts defense can shut down the Saints run game and get to Brees that will force the Saints to go to the pass. If the Colts secondary can keep on the Colts recievers and perhaps come away with a couple of picks they will have no problem beating the Saints. Now if the Saints can figure out a way to get Bush some running room this will be an entirely different ball game.
I think this will be a great game nonetheless. Both teams have fought hard and earned the right to represent thier conferences in this game. I do believe the colts have the advantage but with the right game plan the Saint can come out on top. So here it is... My first day here and my first prediction! And trust me you can bank on this prediction. If you trust me that is.

Saints- 17
So there you have it. I hope this is the start of a wonderful time for all of us. I look forward tohearing from all of you and hope you enjoy all I have to write about.
